The Canadian Show Jumping Team fielded a group of developing riders for the Nations’ Cup event held Friday, September 1, at CSIO3* Samorin, Slovakia. Francois Lamontagne of Saint-Eustache, QC, team anchor Jonathon Millar of Perth, ON, Wesley Newlands of Toronto, ON, and Brian Walker, residing in Wellington, FL, finished seventh among the 11 countries battling for victory.

Evita van de Veldbalie Sold to Canada for Wesley Newlands
Canadian show jumping rider Wesley Newlands of Toronto, ON, has purchased Evita van de Veldbalie, a 2004 bay Belgian Warmblood mare (Wandor vd Mispelaere x Clinton). Under the ownership of Stephex Stables of Belgium, Evita van de Veldbalie competed at the 2014 Alltech FEI World Equestrian Games in Normandy, FRA, where she was ridden by Lorenzo de Luca of Italy.
