July 13, 2012 – Bromont, Quebec – JustWorld International will once again partner with the annual L’International Bromont, bringing fun and fundraising to the two-week show jumping tournament taking place July 18 to 22 and July 25 to 29 in Bromont, Quebec.

Last year, JustWorld International supporters in Bromont helped raise $11,000 for the not-for-profit humanitarian organization.  This year, JustWorld hopes to raise even more for its project sites in Brazil, Cambodia, Guatemala, and Honduras by organizing three different fundraising events.

The popular Horseless Horse Show will kick off on Saturday, July 21.  Competitors will race around a course of obstacles on foot, attempting to leave all the jumps in place while finishing in the fastest time.  Participants can choose to compete in the Short Stirrup Jumpers, Children’s Jumpers, Pair Relay and Puissance (High Bar) Competition.

On Monday, July 23, the fourth annual JustWorld International Benefit Golf Tournament, sponsored by Samuel & Fils & CIE (Quebec) and the Samuel Group of Companies, will take place at the Chateau Bromont Golf Course.  The tee-off time is 11 a.m. and games will be played in a cross-over format to minimize delays.  The inscription fee for the golf tournament is $200 per person and includes green fees, golf cart rental and a five-course gourmet Italian dinner at ‘La Trattoria’ restaurant at Auberge Chateau Bromont.  One hundred percent of the $200 entry fee goes directly to support JustWorld’s humanitarian projects.

All participants will receive a leather golf belt courtesy of Landes Belts and be entered in a draw to win a variety of prizes, including dinner for two at Le Macpherson, a ready-to-play SkyCaddie Rangefinder generously donated by Burkman Capital Corp., an Ogilvy Equestrian half-pad autographed by top grand prix riders, and two VIP passes for the L’International Bromont show jumping tournament.

The JustWorld benefit dinner at ‘La Trattoria’ restaurant at Auberge Chateau Bromont is open to everyone for $80 per person.  Beginning at 6:30 p.m., a live auction will be held in conjunction with the dinner, and will feature the Kim Penner Equine Art’s “Moment in Time” print of Hickstead signed by Canadian Olympic Champion and JustWorld Rider Ambassador, Eric Lamaze.

The final JustWorld International fundraising event, the Horseless Speed Derby, will take place on Thursday, July 26 at the competition grounds.  Highly entertaining, grand prix riders will race each other over a challenging mini-jump course, cheered on by the encouraging crowd.  Prizes for competitors will be donated by Ogilvy Equestrian and Parc Équestre Olympique International Bromont.  The crowd will also have the chance to place bets on their favorite riders and be entered into a drawing for prizes based on the outcome of the race.
