February 14, 2011 – Wellington, FL – Voltaire Design has partnered with JustWorld
International to release a limited number of JustWorld saddles.
JustWorld International is a not-for-profit, humanitarian
organization working as a catalyst for positive change in the
developing world by helping impoverished children.
Voltaire has created 19 limited edition saddles to benefit JustWorld International, unveiling the signature saddle at the JustWorld fundraising event held January 21. For each saddle sold, Voltaire will donate $1,000 to the non-profit organization to help fund project sites in Brazil, Cambodia, Guatemala, Honduras, and Senegal. Each saddle is numbered and recorded on the billet protector, which has been designed in JustWorld signature purple and features the wording ‘Jump for a JustWorld.’
“We wanted to form a partnership with a non-profit organization that would really capture the attention of horse people and it became obvious, very quickly, that the organization would be JustWorld International,” explained Brice Goguet, President and Founder of Voltaire Design, who first got the idea to work with JustWorld from Rider Ambassador Bliss Heers. “I spoke to Jessica, and the whole idea just fell into place. We see our company as more than just a business; we also want to be socially responsible. Our company and JustWorld share a similar vision.”
Voltaire Design, which seeks to bring a touch of fashion to the saddle industry, is based in the south of France, while North American headquarters are in Rockland County, New York. In addition to saddles, the company also produces custom riding boots.
“JustWorld is honoured to have been chosen by Voltaire for this new venture, and we are very excited about the partnership,” said Jessica Newman, Executive Director of JustWorld International. “Voltaire saddles are elegant, unique and one of the most comfortable. Brice’s philosophy of incorporating social responsibility into Voltaire Design convinced me that it would be a great partnership.”
