JustWorld International Mexico will organize the Teletón Charity Horse Show on October 28 in Monterrey, Mexico.

October 13, 2008 – Monterrey, Mexico – Following a successful launch in 2007, JustWorld International Mexico will host the second annual Teletón Charity Horse Show on October 28 in Monterrey, Mexico.

JustWorld Mexico is a branch of JustWorld International, a non-profit organization dedicated to improving the lives of disadvantaged children in the developing world, focused specifically on aiding charities in Mexico. The inaugural event raised over $120,000 US for the well-known Mexican children's charity, Teletón Foundation. Once again, JustWorld International Mexico has worked in partnership with Prodeport to organize the Teletón Charity Horse Show for the benefit of Teletón Foundation.

Thirty Mexican riders will be joined by international riders including Olympic Individual Silver Medalist Rolf Goran Bengstton of Sweden, Norman Dello Joio of the United States, Charlotte Van Breemer of the Netherlands, and Brazilian riders Eduardo Menezes and Carlos Myhrra. Competing for $30,000 in prize money as well as a new Pontiac G5 car, the riders will face a challenging track set by two-time Olympic course designer, Leopoldo Palacios of Venezuela.

This special event, held at the Centro Ecuestre San Pedro A.C (CESPAC) facility, treats spectators to an evening of great sport as well as performances by one of Mexico’s leading recording artists, a shopping village, a live dj, and a gourmet dinner. The JustWorld International Mexico organizing team of Maria Fernanda Palacios (daughter of Leopoldo), Manuel Sada, Oscar Soberon and Patricio Zambrano, expect this year’s event to again raise more than $100,000 in support of the Teletón Foundation.

The Teletón Charity Horse Show is not the only event on the Mexican calendar for JustWorld International. It has also been named the official charity of the Balvanera Horse Show taking place from November 20-23 in Queretaro, Mexico. The Balvanera Horse Show plays host to the National Championships and is organized by JustWorld Rider Ambassador and recent Olympic Games competitor, Federico Fernandez.
