October 3, 2007 – Québec, Québec – Eric Lamaze is the latest show jumping athlete to be selected for sponsorship by CAVALOR CANADA, a division of Pegase Medical Inc. A long-time member of the Canadian Show Jumping Team, Lamaze, 39, is currently enjoying the most successful season of his career partnered with Hickstead. In addition to helping Canada win back-to-back victories in the CN Nations' Cup Wellington, Florida, he was also a Team Silver and Individual Bronze Medalist at this summer's Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. In September, Lamaze celebrated the biggest win of his career, claiming the $1 million CN International during the CSIO Spruce Meadows "Masters" Tournament in Calgary, AB.

Based in Schomberg, ON, Lamaze has made numerous trips to Europe over the past three years in a concentrated effort to improve his own abilities as well as those of his horses by competing against the best in the world. His commitment has paid off and, as of September 1, 2007, he was ranked among the top ten riders in the world in the Rolex World Rider Rankings.
