Bianca Lafontaine of Hudson, Québec, and Frederique Côte of Québec, Québec, have been selected to receive sponsorship from Cavalor Canada, the exclusive distributor of the entire line of Cavalor horse products in Canada. Both young women have been identified as future national and international calibre show jumping athletes, and are members of the 'Releve' development program of excellence administered by the Québec Equestrian Federation (FEQ).

Lafontaine, 18, was a member of the Bronze Medal Team in the junior division of the 2006 North American Young Riders' Championship and looks forward to returning again this year. She will spend the early summer preparing and qualifying for the Championship as will Côte, 15, who is looking forward to making her Championship debut when it is held in Lexington, Virginia, this August. Both Lafontaine and Côte are partnered with experienced horses and are coached by Equine Canada Certified Level 3 Coach, Francis Berger.

Having previously announced its sponsorship of eight-time Olympian Ian Millar, Cavalor Canada sought to also support young talent, the show jumping stars of tomorrow, in order to help encourage and grow the sport in Canada. Lafontaine and Côte both fit the bill perfectly.
