The ‘Kubota’ Capital Classic Show Jumping Tournament once again jumps into the Nation’s Capital, taking place July 12-16 at the Nepean National Equestrian Park in Ottawa, ON. The five-day international competition will feature the world’s top show jumping athletes including Olympic, World Championship and Pan American Games veterans. Local competitors of note include eight-time Olympian Ian Millar of Perth, ON.
What: The ‘Kubota’ Capital Classic Show Jumping Tournament When: July 12-16, 2006 Where: The Nepean National Equestrian Park, at the Moodie Drive exit off the 417 Highway. Admission is $7 per person on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday and $10 on Saturday and Sunday. Children under 12 are admitted free. Why: Spectators will be treated to world-class equestrian sport. Competitors include defending Grand Prix champion Frankie Chesler of Orangeville, ON, three-time World Championship competitor Eric Lamaze of Schomberg, ON, and 2004 Olympic Gold Medallist Chris Kappler of the United States. Extras: Additional family activities include an extensive trade fair and agility dog demonstrations.
