Ashley Holzer Qualifies for Dressage Final at 2008 Olympic Games
Ashley Holzer of Toronto, ON, placed 15th in Saturday’s Grand Prix Special to qualify for the Individual Final at the 2008 Olympic Games in Hong Kong, China. Only the top 15 athletes from an original starting field of 47 qualify to contest the Grand Prix Freestyle, which acts as the Individual Final.

Canada's Tom Dvorak Finishes Fourth Individually at Pan American Games
Tom Dvorak of Hillsburgh, ON, finished fourth in the Individual Dressage competition held Wednesday at the XV Pan American Games. He was edged out of bronze medal position by the smallest of margins, 0.05%, by Yvonne Losos de Muñiz of the Dominican Republic riding the 11-year-old Hannoverian stallion, Bernstein Las Marismas.

Tom Dvorak in Individual Medal Hunt at Pan American Games
In the first round of individual dressage competition at the XV Pan American Games, equestrian athlete Tom Dvorak of Hillsburgh, ON, lies in fourth position, only 1.4 points behind the leader, Christopher Hickey of the United States. Fellow Canadians Diane Creech of Caistor Centre, ON, and Andrea Bresee of Brockville, ON, are in seventh and ninth place, respectively. All three riders are qualified for the Individual Final on Wednesday, July 18.

Canadian Dressage Team Wins Silver Medal at Pan American Games
Canada claimed the Team Silver Medal in the equestrian sport of dressage on Sunday at the XV Pan American Games in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. The United States earned Gold while the home country of Brazil claimed the Team Bronze.
