of Caledon Equestrian Park
New and Returning Sponsors Support Continued Legacy at Pan Am Venue

CASE IH, a global leader in agricultural and farming equipment, has been named the official supplier of all competition arena maintenance and grooming equipment at the Caledon Equestrian Park.

May 15, 2016 – Caledon, Ontario – The Caledon Equestrian Park, host to equestrian events during the TORONTO 2015 Pan American Games, is building on its legacy with increased sponsorship investment for the 2016 season.

CASE IH, a global leader in agricultural and farming equipment, has been named the official supplier of all competition arena maintenance equipment at the Caledon Equestrian Park. The exclusive two-year partnership sees CASE IH provide six tractors for ring maintenance and manure management purposes. CASE IH will have vehicles on display throughout the 2016 show season, and will offer special discounts to competitors.

In addition to being the exclusive agricultural equipment supplier to the Caledon Equestrian Park, CASE IH is also the presenting sponsor of the 1.25m jumper division throughout the 2016 show season. During the Caledon National tournament from May 17 to 22, the $50,000 CSI2* Grand Prix will be presented by CASE IH.

“I would like to thank Robert Meier, Territory Sales Manager for Central and Eastern Ontario, for his commitment in bringing CASE IH Agriculture to the Caledon Equestrian Park,” said Craig Collins, Managing Partner of Equestrian Management Group (EMG) which operates the Caledon Equestrian Park. “Together with our local dealer, Greg Snoddon, Robert brought CASE IH on board with literally no hesitation. We are delighted to be featuring CASE IH as major sponsors.”

Joining CASE IH in its support of the Caledon Equestrian Park are several returning sponsors who have increased their commitment for 2016. Recognizing the recent growth of the Caledon Equestrian Park, sponsors are taking advantage of the higher visibility afforded by the expanded venue, such as the new indoor arena measuring an impressive 117’ x 275’ which extends the competition season and allows for a variety of special events.

RAM has long been the official vehicle of the Caledon Equestrian Park and this year returns to sponsor four major events. RAM will be the presenting sponsor of the $35,000 CSI2* Open Welcome during the Caledon National from May 17-22 as well as three $25,000 Grand Prix events during the Summer Classic, Equestrian Festival, and Autumn Classic tournaments. During its sponsored events, RAM vehicles will be showcased in the grand prix arena and competitor discounts will be offered.

Omega Alpha has also increased its support, and will sponsor the $20,000 Modified Grand Prix on Sunday, May 22, during the Caledon National. The pharmaceutical company will also be the title sponsor of both the Open Performance Hunter and the 1.15m Jumper divisions throughout 2016. In addition, Omega Alpha will provide clothing apparel for the hard-working members of the competition ring crew.

“We are delighted that all of our existing sponsors have significantly raised their contributions, and are very proud to have the support of our corporate partners,” said Collins. “The Park was a construction site for the past four years as we prepared to host the Pan American Games, and our sponsors hung in there with us and were amazing. With an expanded schedule and the new indoor arena, in addition to venue improvements such as new footing in all hunter rings, we are now able to offer additional exposure to our sponsors, and all of our sponsors agreed that now was the time to increase their support.

“We are very proud of what we have built and of the Park’s expanded capabilities, and are delighted that sponsors are recognizing what we have created and are responding to the legacy,” continued Collins. “We would like to sincerely thank all of our corporate partners for their unwavering support.”

To thank its sponsors for their commitment, the Caledon Equestrian Park has introduced a beautiful new sponsor suite. Situated under the Pavilion’s canopy overlooking the grand prix arena, the sponsor suite features furniture provided by Leon’s Furniture Orangeville. Meanwhile, competitors and all visitors to the Caledon Equestrian Park can take advantage of the comfortable Champions Lounge bar area, also furnished by Leon’s Furniture Orangeville, with its leather couches and celebratory atmosphere.
