May 6, 2016 – East Dorset, Vermont – The Vermont Summer Festival will again offer exhibitors the opportunity to experience the best of local lodging with the support of Manchester area Lodging Partners. The Vermont Summer Festival brings thousands of equestrians and their families to the six-week circuit, which runs July 5 through August 14, 2016, at Harold Beebe Farm in East Dorset, VT.

Many area lodging partners welcome both short and long-term visitors with special offers designed specifically for the horse show goer, and exhibitors have come to appreciate the personalized hospitality that many of the area inns are known for. Partners for the 2016 season include returning favorites like the family-owned Marbledge Motel, Four Winds Country Motel, and Olympia Lodge, as well as full-service resorts like The Inns at Equinox.

Sal and Trish Asciutto of Olympia Lodge have been partnering with the Vermont Summer Festival for more than 10 years and are excited for the 2016 horse show season to begin.

“Our summer would not be the same without the horse show,” said Sal Asciutto. “We look forward to hearing from our repeat guests every spring, and spending time with them during their summer stay. Some guests have truly become family, and have watched our three children grow up!”

Other returning partners eager to welcome the horse show clientele back to town include The INN at Willow Pond, The Aerie Inn of Vermont, Bromley View Inn, and The Dorset Inn. Many 2016 partners offer conveniences for equestrians, including RV hook-ups with electricity and pet-friendly rooms.

“The fact that there are so many independently-owned hotels in the area adds to the local charm,” said said Ruth Lacey, Vermont Summer Festival Marketing Director. “These inns, hotels, resorts are the frontline of area hospitality and have proved their quality with the efforts they make to accommodate horse show exhibitors and make them feel at home after a long day competing.”

Lacey is also excited to welcome two new Lodging Partners to the 2016 roster. Both located in Manchester, VT, The Econo Lodge offers a budget-friendly option and the all-new Taconic – A Kimpton Hotel – boasts a destination vacation experience.

For over 20 years, the Vermont Summer Festival has attracted exhibitors and their families to the Manchester region in southern Vermont. Thanks to the 2016 lodging partners, accommodations are a simple decision, leaving more time for competition and exploring the wide variety of area amenities including restaurants, outdoor activities, and ever-popular shopping.
