March 29, 2015 – Wellington, FL – For the second week in a row, Daisy Farish of Lexington, KY, stood in the winner’s circle following the $10,000 Sleepy P Ranch High Junior Jumper Classic and claimed her second consecutive $1,000 bonus in the SSG Gloves “Go Clean for the Green” promotion. Over the course of the 12-week Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, FL, SSG Gloves offered $60,000 in bonus money to winning riders in the Ruby et Violette WEF Challenge Cup, the High Amateur-Owner Jumper Classic, and the Sleepy P Ranch High Junior Jumper Classic for wearing SSG ‘Digital’ style riding gloves on their way to victory.

One week after capturing her first-ever High Junior Jumper Classic victory, Farish again topped the class to close out the 2015 Winter Equestrian Festival. Competing over a tough track designed by Steve Stephens, six riders managed to post a clear round and advance to the jump-off. All six jump-off contenders were wearing SSG ‘Digital’ riding gloves, ensuring that the $1,000 bonus would be awarded on the final day of competition.

As the final rider on course, Farish saved the best for last, guiding Triviant to a double-clear performance in a time of 45.61 seconds to overtake Hannah Patten, the only other rider to go double clear, who had stopped the clock in 46.03 seconds riding Love.

“It was helpful to know her time and how fast I had to be in order to win,” said Farish of being last to go in the jump-off. “Luckily, it worked out.”

For the second week in a row, Farish was wearing her SSG ‘Digital’ riding gloves to collect another $1,000 bonus in recognition of her loyalty to the Canadian brand.

“Clearly they are lucky!” said Farish, 14, who wears SSG ‘Digitals’ whenever she competes. “I really like them. I’ve had them for a long time and they are still working; a lot of my gloves would be broken by now. They have clearly worked!”

While Farish was a double winner, Canada’s Eric Lamaze set a new record in the SSG Gloves “Go Clean for the Green” promotion, collecting a total of $15,000 during the 2015 Winter Equestrian Festival. Lamaze won the weekly WEF Challenge Cup a total of five times, each time winning a $3,000 bonus from SSG Gloves.

As popular as ever, the SSG Gloves “Go Clean for the Green” promotion will return in 2016 to mark its sixth year at the Winter Equestrian Festival.
