June 30, 2014 – East Dorset, VT – The Vermont Summer Festival continues its tradition of family-friendly fun for everyone with another exciting series of six exhibitor parties planned for 2014.

The six-week Vermont Summer Festival runs from July 1 through August 10 at Harold Beebe Farm in East Dorset, VT. Each year, the show prides itself on providing exhibitors with top-notch competition in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Held each Wednesday, the exhibitor parties offer something for everyone at a variety of local venues, allowing the Vermont Summer Festival to thank its competitors and their families for their loyalty while showcasing Manchester's area attractions.

The Chantecleer Restaurant in East Dorset will kick off the festivities on Wednesday, July 2. Set inside a remodeled dairy barn, The Chantecleer has long been recognized as a star of the local dining scene, providing exhibitors with delectable cuisine in a unique setting.

The Bromley Mountain Thrill Zone will keep exhibitors' adrenaline pumping on two occasions this summer, with exhibitor parties on July 9 and July 30. Competitors are treated to a night of ziplining, alpine slides, and more summer fun before settling down for a delicious buffet at the base of Bromley Mountain.

On Wednesday, July 16, Vermont Summer Festival exhibitors will enjoy the picturesque Dorset Inn, which prides itself on providing visitors with a quintessential Vermont experience. For more than 216 years, The Dorset Inn has combined traditional New England hospitality with gourmet dining, fine wine, and great spirits.

The latest venue added to the line-up of six fantastic local restaurants and attractions is the Dorset Field Club, which will host its first Vermont Summer Festival exhibitor party on Wednesday, July 23. The Dorset Field Club will open its doors for an evening of incredible food and great sport.

"The Dorset Field Club is proud to be a host to Vermont Summer Festival exhibitors this summer and is looking forward to treating everyone to an exceptional evening," said Tony Sprister, General Manager for the Dorset Field Club, which offers 18 holes of championship golf, seven world-class red clay tennis courts, platform tennis, casual and formal dining, and a wide variety of social events. "In addition to enjoying a true Vermont cook-out on our beautiful grounds, guests will be treated to live entertainment, a putting contest, and a round of golf or tennis match at our historic and distinguished club."

The renowned Equinox Resort & Spa will host the final exhibitor party on Wednesday, August 7, where exhibitors are invited to enjoy the resort's idyllic grounds. Nestled in the heart of the Green Mountains at the foot of Mount Equinox, the Equinox serves as the perfect celebration of a successful show circuit and provides an excellent send-off for exhibitors in one of the resort's stunning ballrooms.

"We truly appreciate being able to share our summer with the fantastic exhibitors we have at the Vermont Summer Festival, and are gratified by the community's enthusiasm to host these wonderful events for everyone attending the show," said Ruth Lacey, Marketing Director for the Vermont Summer Festival. "The variety of venues that we've put together allows us to treat our exhibitors to the best that Vermont has to offer. We are looking forward to another incredible summer."

For over 20 years, the Vermont Summer Festival has attracted exhibitors and their families to the Manchester region in southern Vermont. Known for its wide variety of area amenities including restaurants, outdoor activities, and lots and lots of shopping, Manchester-area businesses warmly welcome horse show competitors to the area each summer.

The first five Saturdays of the Vermont Summer Festival will feature a $30,000 Grand Prix. The $50,000 Vermont Summer Celebration Grand Prix will be held during the sixth and final week on Saturday, August 9. The hugely popular $5,000 3'3" Hunter Derby will also be held each Thursday for the first five weeks, with week six featuring the $15,000 Hunter Derby.
