As Toronto prepares to host the 2015 Pan American Games next July, the Caledon Pan Am Equestrian Park, site of equestrian events, has undergone an extensive transformation that included building a new Pavilion. With the Pavilion's lounge area in need of furnishings and a newly opened Leon's furniture store in the area, it was a perfect fit for a new partnership. "With the new building, I was looking for furnishings, and it turned out that Leon's was also looking to get involved with the local equestrian community," said Craig Collins, Managing Partner of Equestrian Management Group (EMG) which operates the Caledon Pan Am Equestrian Park. "The new lounge looks absolutely spectacular and serves everyone's needs. Leon's has a wonderful line of high-end furnishings that our clientele appreciate, and we couldn't be more pleased to partner with a Canadian company that has a new store right here in our local community." The contemporary furnishings provided by Leon's include sumptuous leather couches, pony print ottomans, and dark wood dining and side tables. The overall look complements the Park's natural equestrian theme. "The Orangeville store opened approximately one year ago and, with so many equestrians in the area, we were looking for ways to get involved and support the local community," said Roland De La Roca, General Manager of Leon's Orangeville location. "The Caledon Pan Am Equestrian Park had been in the spotlight following all of its renovations, and they had a lounge they were looking to furnish. It was pretty much perfect timing and a perfect fit!" A family-owned Canadian company that has been in business for more than 100 years, Leon's is one of the nation's largest retailers of home furnishings, mattresses, and appliances. In recognition of the competitors and fans at the Caledon Pan Am Equestrian Park, Leon's has extended a discount coupon of 10% off all regular-priced home furnishings and mattresses at its Orangeville location at 95 First Street. Coupons are available at the Caledon Pan Am Equestrian Park. "We are very excited about this partnership, and are so proud to be involved with the equestrian community," noted De La Roca. "Leon's has been around for a very long time, and has a lot of history. When you look at the Caledon Pan Am Equestrian Park, and how it has evolved over time, there are many similarities. Both have created strong legacies, and we are very proud to be a part of it." Throughout the 2014 season, Leon's will also be the presenting sponsor of the 1.30m Junior/Amateur division at all EMG-produced tournaments at the Caledon Pan Am Equestrian Park.
