Vermont Summer Festival Accepting Entries with Equestrian Connect

June 3, 2014 – East Dorset, VT – Entries for the first three weeks of the Vermont Summer Festival are due Friday, June 6, and can easily be completed online using Equestrian Connect. Exhibitors are encouraged to complete their entries with Equestrian Connect's electronic entry software, which allows exhibitors to complete entries in minutes, without ever lifting a pen or dashing to the post office.

The 2014 Vermont Summer Festival hosts six weeks of top equestrian competition from July 1 through August 10 at Harold Beebe Farm in East Dorset, VT. It is the richest sporting event based on purse in the state of Vermont thanks to $750,000 in prize money. For over 20 years, the Vermont Summer Festival has attracted exhibitors and their families to the Manchester region in southern Vermont.

Thanks to a continuing partnership between the Vermont Summer Festival and Equestrian Connect, exhibitors have the ability to complete and submit their entries entirely online. Since its launch in 2010, Equestrian Connect has attracted thousands of users and offers entry services for hundreds of hunter/jumper shows throughout North America.

"Equestrian Connect is a win-win for both shows and exhibitors alike," said Ruth Lacey, Marketing Director of the Vermont Summer Festival. "Exhibitors are saving time and effort by not having to complete entry forms by hand and then rush to the post office, and our show secretaries not only appreciate receiving entries in a timely manner, but ones that are easy to read as well."

Equestrian Connect is available for a 45-day free trial at www.equestrianconnect.com. Once the free trial period ends, exhibitors have two pricing options: $49.99 for an annual subscription per horse, or $8 per entry form for sales horses or horses that show less frequently. Visit the Equestrian Connect website for more information or to submit your entries online for the Vermont Summer Festival.

Entries for the first three weeks of the Vermont Summer Festival are due by June 6, while entries for weeks four through six are due by June 20.
