February 16, 2014 – Wellington, FL – Ali Wolff claimed her third $1,000 bonus so far this season in the SSG Gloves "Go Clean for the Green" promotion after winning the $15,000 High Amateur-Owner Classic on February 16 at the FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida. Lillie Keenan also picked up a $1,000 bonus for her win in the $10,000 High Junior Jumper Classic earlier in the day.

Wolff was victorious in the $15,000 High Amateur-Owner Classic during WEF Week I riding Caya, claimed victory during WEF Week IV with Artemis, and returned in WEF Week VI to win with Lanoo. Three wins with three different mounts is a memorable feat, and one made even more impressive by the fact that her partner for her third win, Lanoo, is now 21 years old.

In WEF Week VI's $15,000 High Amateur-Owner Classic, a total of seven horses advanced to the jump-off over the track set by Guilherme Jorge of Brazil. A speedy jump-off performance in a time of 39.39 seconds put Wolff at the top of the leaderboard to claim her third High Amateur-Owner Classic title of the season. As she had done on the previous two occasions, Wolff was wearing her SSG 'Digital' riding gloves to earn a $1,000 from SSG Gloves in recognition of her loyalty to the Canadian brand.

"I was trying to give them all a chance!" laughed Wolff, 24, of winning with three different horses.

Of Lanoo, her mount for the 2011 Buenos Aires Nations' Cup, Wolff commented, "He's 21 now, so every class for him is just a bonus. We're going to continue in the High's, because that's where he's most comfortable. He's the one who took me to grand prix level and the biggest stuff we've ever done, and now that he's older, we decided to drop him back to where he's comfortable."

Wolff of Columbus, Ohio, plans to buy a new pair of boots with the $3,000 in bonus money she has earned simply for wearing her SSG Gloves.

"They are fantastic!" said Wolff of her SSG 'Digitals'. "They have a great gripping system, especially through the fingers which gets worn out in other gloves; you can really grab on to them. The other horse I am going to ride today I have to ride in double reins, and it really helps with the double reins to have that extra grip."

While Wolff is a three-time winner so far, Lillie Keenan claimed her first SSG Gloves bonus of the 2014 season after winning Sunday morning's $10,000 High Junior Jumper Classic with Londinium. As in the High Amateur-Owner Classic, seven jump-off contenders were vying for victory, but it was Keenan, last to go, who topped them all with a foot perfect performance in a time of 40.29 seconds.

"I've won this promotion before, it's very exciting!" said Keenan, who was a two-time winner during the 2013 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival. "Obviously it's exciting to win the class, but to have this extra little bit of cash is really nice! It all goes back to the horses, because they are the ones that win it. I am really thankful to SSG for having this promotion."

Keenan is loyal to the SSG Gloves brand, wearing them whenever she competes.

"I love the gloves, they are my favourite gloves," said the 17-year-old from New York City. "To be winning a prize for wearing something you already want to wear is fantastic! I always wear them, I love them. They have an awesome grip and, at the same time, they are light. When you're riding, there is a lot going on and the last thing you want to be worried about is your rein slipping. These gloves are so light-weight, and they are awesome in all climates. You can't get any better gloves!"

While Wolff and Keenan took the wins on the weekend, United States Equestrian Team veteran Kent Farrington was awarded a $3,000 bonus earlier in the week for wearing SSG 'Digitals' on his way to victory in the $34,000 Ruby et Violette WEF Challenge Cup Round VI with Blue Angel.

SSG Gloves will continue to offer a $3,000 bonus in each of the weekly WEF Challenge Cup Series events, as well as a $1,000 bonus in the High Amateur-Owner Jumper Classic and the High Junior Jumper Classic competitions. If the winning rider in any of these three competitions is wearing SSG 'Digital' style gloves with the SSG horse head logo clearly visible, they will be presented with bonus money during the awards presentation. A total of $60,000 in bonus money is on offer from SSG Gloves at the 2014 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival.

SSG 'Digital' riding gloves are available for purchase at numerous Wellington locations, including Tackeria, as well as on-site at the FTI Winter Equestrian Festival show grounds at various retailers including Beval Saddlery, Hadfield's, Jods and Running Fox.
