January 26, 2014 – Wellington, FL – Alexandra Crown and Chloe Reid were both rewarded for their loyalty to SSG Gloves with $1,000 bonuses in the SSG "Go Clean for the Green" incentive promotion at the FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida. SSG Gloves is offering a total of $60,000 in bonus money over the 12-week circuit to reward riders for their loyalty to the SSG Gloves brand.

On Saturday, Alexandra Crown made her High Amateur-Owner Classic debut a winning one, claiming victory over 30 entries in the $15,000 SJHOF High Amateur-Owner Classic. Riding Verona, her partner since last May, Crown topped a seven-horse jump-off for the win. For wearing SSG 'Digital' riding gloves in both rounds of competition on her way to victory, Crown was presented with a $1,000 bonus from the Canadian glove manufacturer.

"It's really exciting!" said Crown, 18, of New York. "I've been using the gloves and I love them; I think they are great. They are really grippy, which I love, and if they get rained on, they still work. And they are comfortable. Thank you to SSG Gloves for sponsoring this bonus. It's amazing!"

On Sunday morning, Chloe Reid of Washington, D.C., also faced off against 30 entries to win the $10,000 High Junior Jumper Classic with King of Hearts. Following a 10-horse jump-off, Reid emerged victorious with a clear round in a time of 35.12 seconds to edge out Venezuela's Emanuel Andrade, who stopped the clock in 35.59 seconds riding Carboni.

"The jump-off class was packed with really great riders, and it was awesome to be in there," said Reid of her win with King of Hearts, her partner of three years. "My horse is very relaxed; we call him the slowest horse in the barn. He will jump anything you point him at but it takes him a while to get there, so I was really happy that he was able to step it up with me today and go fast!"

Reid also claimed a $1,000 bonus for wearing SSG 'Digitals' in recognition of her loyalty to the SSG Gloves brand.

"It's awesome! It's a great promotion, I love it so much," said Reid, 17, of the SSG Gloves "Go Clean for the Green" promotion. "The gloves are amazing to wear and I love wearing them. I wear them all the time. They are really grippy and they have grip all the way around, so you know they are always going to be there for you and your fingers will never slip."

Earlier in the week, Todd Minikus was awarded a $3,000 bonus for wearing SSG 'Digitals' on his way to victory in the $34,000 Ruby et Violette WEF Challenge Cup Round III.

SSG Gloves will continue to offer a $3,000 bonus in each of the weekly WEF Challenge Cup Series events, as well as a $1,000 bonus in the High Amateur-Owner Jumper Classic and the High Junior Jumper Classic competitions. If the winning rider in any of these three competitions is wearing SSG 'Digital' style gloves with the SSG horse head logo clearly visible, they will be presented with bonus money during the awards presentation. A total of $60,000 in bonus money is on offer from SSG Gloves at the 2014 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival.

SSG 'Digital' riding gloves are available for purchase at numerous Wellington locations, including Tackeria, as well as on-site at the FTI Winter Equestrian Festival show grounds at various retailers including Running Fox, Jod's, and Beval Saddlery.
