February 21, 2013 – Wellington, Florida
It was a big pay day for Kirsten Coe as the rider claimed $18,000 in bonus money from SSG Riding Gloves in its “Go Clean for the Green” promotion held at the 2013 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, FL.

The $3,000 in bonus money on offer for each week’s WEF Challenge Cup had built up to $18,000, having not been awarded since Rodrigo Pessoa won the bonus during the opening week of competition.  In the $30,000 WEF Challenge Cup Round VII held Thursday, February 21, Coe was one of five riders who found the key to success over Richard Jeffery’s course at The Stadium to qualify for the jump-off.  Four out of the five jump-off riders were wearing SSG ‘Digital’ riding gloves to put themselves in contention for the bonus money, but Coe was the only rider to produce a second clear round in the jump-off to take the win.

For her victory, Coe was awarded $9,000 in prize money, and double that amount with her $18,000 SSG Riding Gloves bonus!

“I think it’s amazing!” said Coe, who was riding Baronez, owned by Ilan Ferder.  “I’m quite lucky that no one had won it in the past six weeks.  I was the lucky recipient!”

SSG Riding Gloves offers a $3,000 bonus in each of the weekly WEF Challenge Cup Series events, as well as a $1,000 bonus in the Amateur-Owner Jumper High Classic and the Junior Jumper High Classic competitions.  If the winning rider in any of these three competitions is wearing SSG ‘Digital’ style gloves with the SSG horse head logo clearly visible, they will be presented with a cash bonus during the awards presentation.  If not awarded, the bonus money carries forward to the next event in the series.  A total of $60,000 in bonus money is on offer from SSG Riding Gloves at the 2013 FTI Consulting Winter Equestrian Festival.

SSG ‘Digital’ Riding Gloves are available for purchase at numerous Wellington locations, including Tackeria, as well as on-site at the FTI Winter Equestrian Festival show grounds at various retailers including Beval Saddlery, Hadfield’s Saddlery, Jods and Running Fox.
