In addition to his share of the prize money, Sweetnam was awarded a cash bonus of $4,000 for wearing SSG ‘Digital’ Riding Gloves on his way to victory riding Sweet Oak Farm’s Solerina. “The ‘Go Clean for the Green’ program gives back to the sport, which is great to see and is really appreciated,” said Sweetnam. “The money truly is a bonus!” Sweetnam earned a total of $6,000 in bonus money in one week’s time. On August 17, he had picked up a $2,000 bonus after winning the $25,000 Hagyard Lexington Classic with a double clear performance aboard Amaretto D’Arco. Added to the $4,000 bonus for his win in the $10,000 Hagyard Welcome Stake, Sweetnam has been handsomely rewarded for his loyalty to the SSG ‘Digital’ brand of riding gloves. “The gloves are very comfortable, and perfect in any riding condition,” Sweetnam said.
