SSG Riding Gloves Promotion Travels to Thunderbird

SSG Riding Gloves will offer $9,000 in bonus money for riders competing in both hunter and jumper competitions at the 2011 Thunderbird Show Park in Langley, BC.

May 23, 2011 – Langley, BC – SSG Riding Gloves will offer $9,000 in cash bonuses for riders competing at Thunderbird Show Park in Langley, BC, throughout the 2011 season.

Following the tremendous success of the SSG ‘Go Clean for the Green’ sponsorship promotion at the 2011 FTI Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, FL, SSG Riding Gloves has expanded the promotion to include the 2011 show season at Thunderbird Show Park.

In six designated Grand Prix events, if the winning rider is wearing SSG ‘Digital’ Riding Gloves with the horse head logo clearly visible, they will be presented with a $1,000 cash bonus.  If the winning rider is not wearing SSG ‘Digital’ Riding Gloves, the bonus money will be carried forward to the next event, increasing from $1,000 to $2,000, etc.

For the first time, the SSG ‘Go Clean for the Green’ promotion will also include hunter competitions.  In six designated events, if the winning rider is wearing SSG ‘Digital’ Riding Gloves, they will earn a $500 bonus, awarded in front of the SSG signature jump during the awards presentation.  If the winner is not wearing SSG ‘Digital’ Riding Gloves, the bonus money increases from $500 to $1,000, etc.

“We are very excited to be a part of the SSG Riding Gloves ‘Go Clean for the Green’ promotion,” said Chris Pack, Vice President of Operations at Thunderbird Show Park.  “When we first learned of this concept, we thought it was unique and innovative, and that it would be a perfect fit for our competitors at Thunderbird.  We are proud to have been selected by SSG Riding Gloves to be a part of the promotion, and we look forward to adding another level of excitement for our competitors.”
