May 17, 2011 – East Dorset, Vermont – The prize list for the 2011 Vermont Summer Festival is now available online at http://vt-summerfestival.com/prize.php. New England’s largest hunter/jumper competition will run for six consecutive weeks from July 6 through August 14, 2011 at Harold Beebe Farm in East Dorset, VT.

Entry forms for all six weeks of competition are also available online and allow competitors to electronically fill out the forms, which can then be printed, signed and mailed in.

The deadline for entries for the first three weeks of competition is June 7, 2011. Entries for the remaining weeks must be received no later than June 21, 2011. Stabling is limited, and may sell out.

“We’ve put a lot of thought into ways to make the entry process more streamlined for our exhibitors,” said Ruth Lacey, Marketing Director for the Vermont Summer Festival. “The first step was to make the entire Prize List available on our website. More recently, we’ve added fillable entry forms to our website, so that our customers can fill in and print the entry forms right from their computer screen.”

With more than $750,000 in prize money available, the Vermont Summer Festival attracts top athletes, including Olympic medalists, from across the country and around the globe and offers classes for all levels of competitors.

The first five Sundays of the Vermont Summer Festival will feature a $30,000 Grand Prix, culminating with the $50,000 Vermont Summer Celebration Grand Prix on Sunday, August 14. Weekly $10,000 Open Welcome Stake classes, presented by Manchester Designer Outlets, and weekly $10,000 Show Jumping Hall of Fame Junior/Amateur-Owner Classics are also highlights for show jumping competitors. During the sixth week of competition a $15,000 Children’s/Adult Jumper Classic will be held.

For over 20 years, the Vermont Summer Festival has attracted exhibitors and their families to the Manchester region. Well-known for its wide variety of area amenities including a large range of lodging options, restaurants to suit every taste, and lots of shopping, Manchester warmly welcomes horse show competitors to the area each summer.

The Vermont Summer Festival is a proud member event of the Show Jumping Hall Of Fame, the Marshall & Sterling League, and the North American League (NAL). For more information about the Vermont Summer Festival, please e-mail: info@vt-summerfestival.com or visit www.vt-summerfestival.com.
