SSG Riding Gloves Bonus Doubles to $6,000


SSG ‘Digital’ Riding Gloves.

February 3, 2011 – Wellington, FL For the first time, the SSG ‘Go Clean for the Green’ bonus money was not awarded in the weekly WEF Challenge Cup Series, meaning that $6,000 will be on offer to the winner of the $31,000 WEF Challenge Cup Series Round V on Thursday, February 10, if they are wearing SSG ‘Digital’ Riding Gloves.
 
A total of 54 horses jumped in the $31,000 WEF Challenge Cup Series Round IV on Thursday, February 3, with eight advancing to the jump-off.  Lauren Hough emerged the winner riding Quick Study and while she was wearing SSG Riding Gloves, they were not the ‘Digital’ style required to claim the $3,000 bonus.
 
“We are in the fourth week of the promotion now, and it has been great fun,” said Ed James of SSG Riding Gloves.  “With the bonus money doubled to $6,000 for next week, it should make for an exciting event!”
 
So far, Canada’s Yann Candele, Catherine Pasmore of the United States, and Darragh Kenny of Ireland have been awarded bonuses of $3,000 each for winning Thursday’s $31,000 WEF Challenge Cup Series while wearing SSG ‘Digital’ Riding Gloves.
 
SSG Riding Gloves is offering a total of $57,000 in cash bonuses for riders competing at the FTI Winter Equestrian Festival running January 12 through April 3 in Wellington, FL.  The SSG ‘Go Clean for the Green’ promotion is offered in the weekly WEF Challenge Cup Series, the Amateur-Owner Jumper Low Classic, and the Amateur-Owner Jumper High Classic competitions.  For the upcoming Amateur-Owner Low Jumper Classic on Sunday, February 6, the bonus money has doubled to $2,000.
 
Cash bonuses are given directly to the rider during the award presentations in front of the SSG Riding Gloves signature jump by either Ed James of SSG Riding Gloves or Jennifer Ward of Starting Gate Communications, who manages and handles publicity for the ‘Go Clean for the Green’ promotion.
 
SSG ‘Digital’ Riding Gloves are available for purchase at numerous Wellington locations, including Tackeria, as well as on-site at the FTI Winter Equestrian Festival show grounds at Beval Saddlery, Collierville, Hadfield’s, Kocher, and Running Fox.
