June 7, 2005 – Cedar Valley, Ontario – Two-time Canadian Show Jumping Champion Ainsley Vince has opened her own sales and training business, Linden Ridge Limited, in Cedar Valley, ON.

The 28-year-old athlete from Milton, ON, will specialize in operating a service-oriented business catering to the needs of the hunter and jumper equestrian community.

“I am looking forward to welcoming both clients and sales horses to our barn,” noted Vince, who spent several years training with three-time World Championship competitor Eric Lamaze as well as American Olympian, Laura Kraut, before going out on her own. “I am really excited to launch this new business. I have worked or been a client in so many barns and have seen first-hand what works and what doesn’t, so I have a very clear idea of how I want to run my business.”

Linden Ridge Limited will operate out of the IESS stables formerly run by Canadian Olympic dressage competitors, Eva Maria and Martina Pracht, as well as Martina’s husband and show jumping trainer, Juergen von Buttlar.

“This is a great facility in an accessible location, and our focus will be on personalized service,” explains Vince. “Not everyone has the time to dedicate countless hours to training, but they still want horses to be a part of their life and to be competitive when they go to a show. Both my staff and I have a strong focus on caring for the horses and providing them with individual attention. The horses and clients that I produce will be a reflection of my business, and I want to make sure that when we go to a show, the horses look good and are ready to win.”

In 2001 and 2002, Vince claimed back-to-back Canadian Show Jumping Championship titles riding her veteran campaigner, Catch 22. They are also the current three-time Jump Canada Series Champions, and represented Canada at the 2000, 2003 and 2004 World Cup Finals. In 2004, Vince and the 15-year-old Dutch Warmblood gelding were members of the victorious Canadian Nations’ Cup team in Wellington, FL, and went on to win the $75,000 Grand Prix in Bromont, QC, and the $50,000 Collingwood Festival Grand Prix.
